I really would love to make an experiment… Make a kid who’s never seen Digimon watch it in this order: 5-4-3-1-2-6-7 and afterwards ask him which one he thinks is better.
I bet he’d go for Savers, because it’d be the first one he watched, and the one he got used to.
Why am I ranting like this? Because all those conservationists who love Adventure don’t even find any logical arguments to criticize the other seasons. All I can make out of the “It lost it’s touch” “It’s not the same” “The kids were too different” is that they’re too caught up in their childhood to even watch the other seasons
I don’t care, honestly, if someone who watched them all says “My favorite is Adventure” for his own reasons, either because he grew up with that or they just like the way it was, or any real motive such as these. But when you go around insulting other seasons because “This one has an Agumon that’s not Tai’s, so I don’t like him” or “The kids become Digimon?! WTF?!” or the usual “CARDS?! THIS ISN’T YU-GI-OH!” then I, having grown up with Frontier rather than the others, can just simply go by saying “Partners? That’s just LAME. Kids prove their worth by becoming one with the spirits, by having a partner they’re not doing any work other than yelling their digimon’s name…”
I honestly don’t mind, as I said, if the favorite is Adventure or whatever. All I truly want is that all those conservationists who didn’t even watch 02 to give the other seasons a chance, or, if they decide they’re nont worth their time, then don’t go around insulting something you didn’t even bother to watch. All seasons have their pros and cons, ALL OF THEM. So I’d love it if people would stop critizicing seasons 3-7 with no basis, and with illogical excuses that make no sense whatsoever ¬¬
